As Area Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction are achieved across multiple sites. We partner with some of Europe’s leading retail, office, and industrial brands to ensure we deliver the very best environments for their staff and customers to enjoy.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage the operation through a team of Supervisors with key responsibility for standards in all aspects of the role.</li> <li>Meet regularly with all of our clients and ensure requirements are being met.</li> <li>Handle any escalations within your region.</li> <li>Ensure all locations are within budget.</li> <li>Manage resourcing for each site.</li> <li>Handle all site administration including time sheets, ordering, recruitment documentation, etc.</li> <li>Train staff on site.</li> <li>Coach supervisors in terms of staff management.</li> <li>Support sites in cleaning activity when required.</li> <li>Carry out formal and informal staff meetings as required, in conjunction with HR.</li> <li>Travel to other regions or countries may be required from time to time to support business activity.</li> <li>Manage larger scale cleaning projects if required.</li> <li>Carry out all health and safety checks on site, including risk assessments.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Person Specification:</strong></p> <p>Required Skills</p> <ul> <li>Must have fluent English.</li> <li>Proven track record within a similar environment.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience of delivering the highest standards of customer service.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people-management, leadership, and both written and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.</li> <li>A full clean driving license.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Desirable Skills:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge and experience of the cleaning sector would be a distinct advantage.</li> </ul>
