Position Overview

Reports to: FP&A Specialist

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

Salary: c. €50,000 , depending on experience

We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team and support the FP&A function in delivering budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis across our multi-entity operations in Europe and the UK.

This is a hands-on analytical role, ideal for someone early in their FP&A career who wants to build strong financial modelling and business partnering skills within a growing finance function.

The role is well suited to a part-qualified accountant or a strong finance graduate with analytical experience, looking to develop into a senior FP&A position over time.

Key Responsibilities

Budgeting, Forecasting and Reporting Support

•    Support the FP&A function in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts, including consolidating departmental inputs.

•    Assist in building and maintaining financial models, templates and reporting tools.

•    Maintain customer & site budgets in Business Central via Projects interface.

•    Prepare first-draft variance analysis.

•    Help maintain data integrity and consistency across FP&A outputs.

•    Support the greater finance team if required.

Margin & Profitability Support

•    Assist with gross margin analysis by country, customer and site.

•    Support preparation of monthly margin bridge reporting.

•    Provide data gathering and modelling support for contract renewals and tenders.

Reporting & Systems

•    Help prepare elements of the monthly management reporting pack.

•    Maintain and update reporting in Excel & Business Central.

•    Support ERP-related data and reporting tasks as required.

•    Identify opportunities to improve and automate recurring reporting tasks.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience

•    1–3 years' experience in an FP&A, finance analyst or financial accounting role.

•    Strong Excel skills; exposure to Power BI is desirable.

•    Experience working with an ERP system. Business Central would be an advantage.

Competencies

•    Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

•    Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

•    Clear written and verbal communication.

•    Proactive and keen to learn, with a willingness to take on new challenges.

•    Able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

Qualifications

•    Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.

•    Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
