Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to take on the role of Head of Hospitality Division. The successful candidate will lead our efforts in enhancing team productivity within the hotel sector of our cleaning company. Leading this rapidly growing sector in our company, the candidate will focus on strategic partnerships, growth, quality, staff management, customer satisfaction, and financial performance.

 

Responsibilities:

1.       Division Growth:

  • Establish and develop the Hospitality Division within our cleaning business, defining its goals, strategies, and operational procedures.
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships to expand our customer base and market presence.
  • Develop and execute growth plans to achieve targets and increase revenue.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.

 

2.       Customer Focus:

  • Establish strong customer relationships and maintain regular communication to understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement customer service standards and processes to deliver exceptional experiences.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer loyalty and retention.

 

3.       Margin Management and Reporting:

  • Oversee financial performance and margin management within the Hospitality Division.
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining competitiveness.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including revenue, expenses, and profitability, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective expense control measures.

 

4.       Productivity Enhancement and Team Motivation:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the productivity and efficiency of cleaning teams within the hotel sector.
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of existing workflows and processes to identify areas for optimization and enhancement.
  • Design and deliver motivational programs to inspire and empower cleaning teams to achieve and exceed productivity targets.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to streamline procedures and eliminate bottlenecks to maximize output.
  • Design and implement a comprehensive bonus framework to incentivize and reward teams for achieving productivity targets and monitor the success of the framework.

 

5.       Performance Management and training:

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and competencies.
  • Recognize and reward high-performing individuals and teams to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Implement performance management systems to monitor and evaluate team performance against productivity metrics.
  • Identify and address performance issues promptly and effectively, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
  • Take decisive action to manage poor performance out of the business, ensuring standards are maintained at all times.

 

6.       Cultural Development:

  • Cultivate a culture of high performance and accountability within the cleaning teams, emphasizing teamwork, excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example and promote a positive and supportive work environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
  • Foster open communication and feedback channels to empower teams to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement.

 

Requirements:

1.       Experience and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar setting such as the cleaning business or related service industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong business acumen with a track record of successfully growing divisions or business units.
  • Familiarity with strategic partnership development and management.
  • Experience in staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of financial management, margin analysis, and reporting.

Additional Information:

  • This role will report directly to senior management and will play a critical role in shaping the productivity strategy and direction of the company within the hotel sector.
  • Travel may be required to various hotel locations within the designated region.
  • Flexible working hours may be necessary to accommodate operational needs and project deadlines.
