Als Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor heb je een cruciale rol binnen CCS Cleaning. Je bent
verantwoordelijk voor het leiden en managen van een team van schoonmaakpersoneel op diverse locaties in
Amsterdam. Jouw doel is om ervoor te zorgen dat onze klanten altijd kunnen rekenen op efficiënte
en kwalitatieve schoonmaakdiensten. Je bent een belangrijke schakel in het onderhouden van sterke
klantrelaties en het creëren van een positieve werkomgeving voor jouw team.
Wat ga je doen?
- Je geeft leiding en managet een team van schoonmaakpersoneel, waarbij je zorgt voor de
juiste bezetting, training en prestatiebeoordelingen.
- Je waarborgt hoge normen voor netheid, hygiëne en sanitatie op alle toegewezen
locaties, volgens de geldende branchevoorschriften en ons bedrijfsbeleid.
- Je voert regelmatig inspecties en audits uit om verbeterpunten te identificeren en actie te
ondernemen voor optimale prestaties.
- Je werkt nauw samen met klanten om hun specifieke schoonmaakeisen te begrijpen en ervoor te
zorgen dat onze dienstverlening volledig aan hun verwachtingen voldoet.
- Je bouwt sterke relaties op met klanten, waarbij je eventuele zorgen of problemen snel en
effectief oplost.
- Je zorgt voor een veilige werkomgeving door het implementeren en handhaven van
veiligheidsprotocollen en -procedures.
- Je beheert het inkoopproces, de voorraad van schoonmaakbenodigdheden en apparatuur binnen de
gestelde budgetten.
- Je houdt de prestatie-indicatoren bij en rapporteert regelmatig aan het hoger management
over productiviteit, kwaliteit en klanttevredenheid.
- Je blijft op de hoogte van de nieuwste trends en ontwikkelingen in de schoonmaakbranche en
implementeert verbeteringen om onze operationele efficiëntie te vergroten.
- Je stimuleert een positieve werkomgeving door begeleiding, ondersteuning en training te
bieden aan jouw team, met aandacht voor hun professionele ontwikkeling.
Wie ben jij?
- Je hebt een bewezen ervaring in een vergelijkbare leidinggevende rol binnen de
schoonmaakbranche, bij voorkeur in de facilitaire dienstverlening of commerciële
schoonmaak.
- Je bent een uitstekende leider met sterke managementvaardigheden, in staat om een divers
team te motiveren en te inspireren.
- Je hebt diepgaande kennis van schoonmaaktechnieken, beste praktijkervaring en
branchevoorschriften.
- Je bent georganiseerd, detailgericht en hebt uitstekende communicatie- en interpersoonlijke
vaardigheden.
- Je bent een probleemoplosser en besluitvaardig, in staat om effectief te handelen in een
dynamische werkomgeving.
- Je hebt ervaring met IT-software en technologieën.
- Je hebt kennis van gezondheids- en veiligheidsregelgeving en kunt naleving
afdwingen.
- Je bent flexibel en bereid om te reizen binnen het toegewezen gebied en om buiten
traditionele werktijden te werken indien nodig.

Job purpose:
As a Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team
of housekeeping staff to ensure the cleanliness, orderliness, and overall comfort of the hotel's
guest rooms and public areas. Your role is pivotal in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, coordinating
efficient work schedules, and delivering exceptional guest experiences through effective leadership and
attention to detail.
Job description
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of housekeeping staff, including room
attendants, housekeeping aides, and janitors, to ensure efficient and effective completion of
tasks.
- Cleaning and Inspection: Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house
areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to established standards.
- Training and Development: Train new housekeeping staff members on proper cleaning
techniques, safety procedures, and hotel-specific standards. Provide ongoing coaching and support to enhance
the team's skills and knowledge.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and control the inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and
guest amenities to ensure an adequate supply is available. Coordinate with the CCS Warehouse department to
replenish stock as needed.
- Work Schedule Coordination: Create and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff,
ensuring appropriate staffing levels to meet operational demands while considering employee preferences and
labor regulations.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures, such as random room inspections and
guest feedback analysis, to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality cleaning and service
standards.
- Recruitment: Work with our recruitment team to ensure staffing levels are maintained.
Involvement in Interviews and the recruitment process to ensure the recruitment and onboarding of staff is
completed in a timely manner.
- Guest Interaction: Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and
concerns related to housekeeping services, striving to resolve issues and exceed guest
expectations.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and
procedures, including the proper use and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment. Conduct regular safety
training for the team. Ensure any maintenance issues are raise with the appropriate
departments.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the housekeeping department of a hotel or
similar establishment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse
team.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment used in the hospitality
industry.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures related to
housekeeping.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling, inventory management, and
reporting.
- Ability to handle and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a professional and timely
manner.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as
needed.
