Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, issue, and send customer invoices in a timely manner
  • Record and process incoming payments
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received according to agreed terms
  • Reconcile accounts transactions and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Follow up with customers regarding overdue invoices and outstanding balances Communicate with internal departments (sales, customer service, finance) to resolve billing issues
  • Assist with monthly accounts closing and reporting
  • Assist with audits by providing required documentation and records

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experiences & Qualifications Needed to Succeed on this Role:
  • Previous experience in an accounts receivable, finance assistant, or accounting support role is preferred
  • Experience handling invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliation
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with a knack for candidate engagement and influence.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
  • Commitment to quality and adherence to defined SLA.
  • Ability to solve problems, think critically and take initiative will be paramount in this role.
  • Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively within your team, across various locations, and with your assigned market teams.
