Shift: Monday – Sunday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
  • Room Cleaning and Preparation: Assist in cleaning and preparing guest rooms by making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities.

  • Linen and Supply Management: Collect used linens and deliver clean linens to the designated areas. Replenish supplies, such as toiletries and towels, as needed in guest rooms and public areas.

  • Public Area Cleaning: Assist in maintaining cleanliness in public areas, including corridors, lobbies, elevators, and other common spaces, by vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining overall cleanliness.

  • Waste Management: Empty trash and recycling bins regularly, ensuring proper disposal of waste and adherence to recycling procedures.

  • Restocking and Inventory: Monitor and restock housekeeping carts with supplies, such as cleaning agents, linens, and amenities, as necessary. Report any shortages or equipment malfunctions to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

  • Guest Service: Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests for additional amenities, towels, or other housekeeping services, ensuring guest satisfaction.

  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient completion of tasks, providing assistance and support as needed.

  • Adherence to Safety and Sanitation Standards: Follow established safety and sanitation procedures, including the proper handling and storage of cleaning agents and equipment. Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area. Identify and report any damages, maintenance issues, or safety hazards in guest rooms or public areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor for prompt resolution.

  • Flexibility: Be prepared to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the operational needs of the hotel.
Qualifications And Skills:
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not required.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment is beneficial.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as required.
